As in many parts of Italy, there are also antiques fairs in Valdarno. There are in fact two antiques fairs in the Upper Valdarno, one in Terranuova Bracciolini and the other in Montevarchi.
Terranuova Bracciolini Antiques Fair
Every second Sunday of the month, the Antiques Market is held in Terranuova Bracciolini, known as ‘Fiera Antiquaria del Valdarno’, with over 100 exhibitors selling antiques in the main square of the town, involving the neighbouring streets.
The Fair is held for one day all year round, with the exception of the month of August.
Montevarchi Antiques Fair
The ‘Via dei Musei’ Association has been organising the Antiques Market in Via De’ Musei in Montevarchi for many years. The market takes place throughout the day, every fourth Sunday of the month, branching out along Via De’ Musei, Via I. Del Lungo and Via P. Bracciolini. Antiques, modern antiques and handicrafts are on sale.
